YouthBuild Mock Interviews

YouthBuild will be hosting mock interviews for our students this month and would love for you and your team to join us! The mock interviews will take place on Friday October 03, from 12:00pm to 3:00 PM.

You don’t need to stay for the full duration, but we do ask that each employer participates for at least an hour so that all of our students have a chance to connect with someone from your team. 

We currently have 14 students participating, two of whom are Spanish-speaking. If anyone from your team is bilingual, we’d love to give those students the opportunity to interview in Spanish as well.

Lastly, I was hoping you could share some insight into what students should expect during an interview with your team. Specifically:

• What qualities or skills do you look for in prospective employees

• Topics or themes that might come up

• Example interview questions

Having this information ahead of time would be incredibly helpful—it would allow us to better prepare the students before the

mock interviews. If this is something you’re able to provide, please let me know.
